Global Business Events Company Looking for Charitable Causes

GDS International is currently looking for charitable causes to support in 2012.

In March 2011, Spencer Green, chairman of global business events company GDS International (, launched the GDS Foundation ( to help charities that work with autism spectrum disorder children and young people.

“I chose to raise money for Autism charities because my son has Asperger’s, an autism spectrum disorder,” says Spencer. “And the good people of GDS raised just over £31,500 in just three months.”

Now Spencer and GDS Foundation manager Hannah Duffie are looking for another worthy cause (or causes) to support in 2012.

“The charity or charities should be working in the UK, US and Australia,” says Hannah. “That is where we have our offices, and we like to send small groups to work with the charities as volunteerism makes our fundraising real - and it is a superb way to encourage and foster personal growth.”
