How do Online Stores Beat High Street Ones?
By Everydaysale, PRNEWednesday, November 3, 2010
LONDON, November 4, 2010 - Christmas is the very time of year when people always spend abundant
amounts on shopping. Now it is one month away from Christmas for which
Everydaysale.co.uk conducted a survey on Briton's shopping habits.
The survey found 53% of Britons prefer online shopping while 41% of
Britons are more likely to shop on high street. The rest of respondents noted
that nothing's different for them to shop during Christmas.
According to this survey, we found that a dominant amount of Britons
prefer to shop online for different reasons. 56% of respondents said that
they turned to internet shopping for the added bonus brought out by the
Internet as they can save a lot on spending. Among those ones, 58% said they
take advantage of discount codes to save money and 32% said they're pleased
to get free gifts.
38% of the respondents would like to go online shopping as the Internet
presents endless possibilities on types, sizes and styles. 11% of Britons
quizzed said that they love free-shipping online items. Others said that they
don't have time and energy to go to crowed streets and would enjoy shopping
in the comfort of the sofa at home. Other reasons include the roar of cost
and the growing expense of oil and eating.
Online shopping stores have seen a rise over three years although some of
the respondents still insist on traditional shopping habits - heading for
high street. Upon the date provided above, it seems that gradually online
shopping is catching up to traditional shopping.
