Management Consultancy Stuns the Market, Smashing Targets and Achieving 30% Growth…Again!
By Qedis, PRNESunday, October 17, 2010
LONDON, October 18, 2010 - London-based Qedis has shocked the consulting market yet again by
smashing targets for the year, with outstanding sales and recruitment growth
of 30%. Adding 221 new projects to its portfolio and being awarded 4th Best
Small Company to work for by the Sunday Times, Qedis continues its success
story.
But how is this small management consultancy defying the odds so well?
In 2003, Qedis was established as a new kind of consultancy: one with a
more personal style, one that aims to change the way the world thinks about
consulting.
Qedis CEO Paramjit Uppal puts much of the company's ongoing achievement
down to this unique people approach - "Qedis believes in treating its people
and its clients in the right way. This is what we're all about. We employ
excellent people, we are committed to helping our clients help themselves and
we guarantee our work - it's what we like to call Next Generation
Consulting."
In a year when consulting industry fees have actually fallen and with the
total industry worth dropping from GBP8.5billion to GBP7.96billion (MCA),
Qedis has still managed to boost sales by 30% to GBP13million. Nearly 60% of
our clients from FY09 re-hired us in FY10, as well as the 25 new clients we
worked with of which a third invited us back to help with other areas of
their business.
Huge growth is also predicted for the year ahead, with plans to increase
from 100 to 135 consultants and a sales forecast of GBP18million.
As Qedis goes from strength to strength year after year, it proves that
there is still hope out there for consulting firms, if they would just start
behaving like the consultants they themselves would like to buy.
