Netmania Gains Capability to Process 10 Million E-Tax Transactions Per Month by Upgrading to Oracle Database 11g

Netmania’s Sendbill, the #1 electronic invoice issuing service in Korea, upgraded to Oracle Database 11g with Oracle Real Application Clusters in anticipation of a significant increase in e-tax transactions in 2011, when it becomes compulsory for Korean companies to submit value-added tax (VAT) receipts electronically.
Netmania chose Oracle for its high performance, reliability and scalability. The Sendbill application has run on Oracle Database since its launch in 2001.
In addition to Sendbill, Netmania offers an e-tax package to companies that want to build their own customized e-tax system. The special e-tax package leverages Oracle infrastructure software, including Oracle Database 11g and Oracle Enterprise Linux.
The open interfaces of the Oracle software enable companies to deploy their own e-tax system in as little as one to two days. Netmania also benefits from lowered total cost of ownership as Oracle developers and DBAs are widely available.
Netmania also uses Oracle Advanced Security to encrypt all application data in the Oracle Database, boosting security without compromising database performance.
