Oracle is showcasing Oracle Solaris 11 (oracle.com/solaris) at Oracle OpenWorld this week, ahead of its planned release in November of this year.

The Oracle Solaris 11 Early Adopter Release, a feature-complete preview of Solaris 11 is now available to Gold Level Oracle Partner Network (OPN) (www.oracle.com/partners/index.html) members and above on the Oracle Solaris Knowledge Zone (www.oracle.com/partners/en/knowledge-zone/server-storage/050760.html) .
Developers are using this release to begin final qualification of their applications on the upcoming Oracle Solaris 11.
OPN members will also find new Oracle Solaris 11 tools and resources in the Oracle Solaris Knowledge Zone.

Qualifying OPN ISV members at Gold level and above are eligible for Oracle Solaris development and demo licenses as well as updates and patches through the new Oracle Solaris Development Initiative for development, integration, testing and validation of commercially available software applications.
