LONDON, October 21, 2011 -

A new vodcast with TV property expert Phil Spencer offing homebuyers advice on how to avoid the ‘three Gs’ has been published by an online conveyancing website In-Deed.

The video outlines the dodgy practices that go on when buying or selling a home and offers tips on what homebuyers can do to protect themselves against gazumping, gazundering and ‘gazanging’.

As well as the established ‘gazumping’ and ‘gazundering’, Phil also highlights the new trend of ‘gazanging’, which is when a seller pulls-out of the deal at the last minute, leaving the buyer hanging.

The term ‘gazanging’ was first coined by In-Deed, whose team of dedicated property lawyers reported the increasing trend, which has since been suggested for inclusion in the Macmillan Dictionary.

The vodcast is to be followed by several others released over the next year, in which Phil Spencer advises on other aspects of the house buying and selling process.

In-Deed is a new conveyancing service that takes the stress out of the legal side of home-buying using web and mobile technology to let users track every stage of the process.

Commenting on the vodcast, TV property expert Phil Spencer said:

“As well as highlighting some of the classic dodgy practices, this vodcast also looks at the increasing trend of ‘gazanging’, first reported by online conveyancers In-Deed, where the seller pulls-out and the buyer is left hanging.

“One thing buyers can do to help prevent gazanging is to ensure that they use the most efficient legal service available.
