Ralph Lauren Receives Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur From President Sarkozy at Elysee Palace

PARIS, April 15, 2010 - Ralph Lauren receives the Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur in recognition
of his contributions as a designer, business leader and philanthropist in the
fight against cancer. The honor was presented to him in Paris by Nicolas
Sarkozy
, President of France, as a token of appreciation for his outstanding
career and his philanthropic activities and interest in France.

After receiving the Legion d'Honneur, Mr. Lauren was hosted by the U.S.
Ambassador, Mr. Charles H. Rivkin and his wife Mrs. Susan Tolson, at the U.S.
Ambassador's residence in Paris for a private dinner.
