With a record pursuit marathon, you tend to think of achievements such as finishing times under 2.06. However, as the main sponsor of the Fortis Marathon Rotterdam, Fortis Bank the Netherlands also had another purpose in mind: to make a constructive contribution to the Right to Play Foundation.

The Right to Play Foundation is committed to the rights of children in the most disadvantaged areas of the world by allowing them to participate in sports and play. Sport and play unite. To emphasize this, Fred Bos (Board of Directors) has presented a cheque worth EUR 25,000 to Johan Olav Koss.

Koss is the founder and CEO of the organisation Right to Play and is known for his accomplishments as a long-distance skater in the 90’s.
