awarded the Surrey Clinical Research Centre (Surrey CRC) at the University of
Surrey standard accreditation for conducting clinical pharmacology Phase I

The accreditation scheme was introduced to improve the safety of clinical
research volunteers and assesses the capability of the clinical research
centre based on facilities, training and experience of staff.
