TMD Friction and Porsche Motorsport Continue Their Cooperation

LUXEMBOURG, June 21, 2011 -

TMD Friction continues as sole
supplier of brake pads to Porsche Motorsports

TMD Friction and Porsche Motorsport will
continue their successful cooperation in
international motor sports through 2011. Both
companies recently signed an agreement to this
effect, extending the 20-year-old history
of their collaboration to another year.
Under the agreement TMD Friction will supply Pagid
RS brand pads for Porsche race cars
and the two companies will cooperate in
developing high-performance friction materials. The
world‘s most popular racing car, the Porsche 911
GT3, will exclusively be equipped with Pagid RS brake
pads again.The Porsche 911 GT3 racing cars
participate in the Porsche Carrera Cup
Deutschland which is part of the DTM calendar, as well as
the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup
which takes place on all European Formula
1 racing weekends. In addition, TMD
Friction is outfitting all other racing cars in the
worldwide Porsche Manufacturer‘s Cups
as well as other racing teams which drive
Porsche racing cars in GT sport. These
include the team Flying Lizard which participates in
the American Le Mans series, as well as the teams
Felbermayr Proton, IMSA Performance,
and Prospeed Competition, all ofwhich equip
their Porsche 911 GT3 RSR cars with
Pagid RS high-performance
pads. In total, more than
300Porsche cars will race with Pagid RS pads in
2011.
