Adder Introduce a Fleet of New Rack Trays Featuring Latest Generation KVM Over IP and KVM Technology for Data Centre and Server Control
CAMBRIDGE, England, March 8, 2011 - Adder (www.adder.com/), the experts in connectivity solutions
today unveil the latest generation of rack trays 'ADDERView RDX' delivering
the same switching and control technology that Adder have become famous for,
all integrated into a high quality customisable rack tray featuring Samsung
TFT LCD technology and highly responsive keyboard and touchpad control.
Adder KVM and KVM over IP technology has always been highly respected by
professional users for its undisputed quality combined with great care and
attention to usability. The first company to deliver DVI KVM switches,
Embedded VNC KVM over IP and many more game changing technologies now deliver
a fleet of professional user rack trays featuring Adder KVM core innovations.
The new range features three unique units. Firstly, the ADDERView RDX
1000, a straightforward 16 port KVM rack tray allowing CATx based
connectivity to almost any server/computer type. The second, ADDERView RDX
1000IP, features an additional KVM over IP user. The third variant, the
ADDERView RDX 5000IP provides 4 KVM over IP users alongside local control and
the same flexible 16 port configuration. RDX 5000IP can also be used as a
serial console server (SCS) giving you out of band access to command line
interface (CLI) devices together with console access to network switches.
Each rack tray can be expanded to control up to 256 unique computers with as
many as 64 unique KVM over IP sessions running at one time.
The single and quad KVM over IP unit's both ship with the Adder.NET
management suite already in the box. Adder.NET allows you to automatically
authenticate all users against existing LDAP infrastructure and connect
directly to any KVM over IP device across the network. Furthermore, ADDERView
RDX also offers enterprise grade security which employs AES128 bit encryption
and RSA2048 authentication ensuring system wide security.
The ADDERView RDX is available worldwide today with an array of country
specific keyboard layouts and 17" or 19" screen options. For more
