LONDON, April 8, 2011 - GBP40,000 on Offer for six Month Role as Eyes, Ears and Claws for the
Meerkats of Meerkovo in the UK

The hunt for a UK Ambassador to represent the Meerkat village of Meerkovo
was launched today by best selling author and founder of
comparethemeerkat.com, Aleksandr Orlov.

The six month, home based role will pay GBP40,000, gross, and the
successful applicant will become the country's most famous meerkat's first
ever, human, UK based Ambassador. The role will be advertised in The Sunday
Times, The Times and The Guardian this week with applications open on
www.meerkovo.com until 20th April 2011.

The role will require the UK Ambassador to represent Meerkovo
(meerkovo.comparethemarket.com/ambassador) at a number of high-profile
sporting and cultural events such as Wimbledon and The Lord's Test Match,
Glastonbury and The Last Night of the Proms* to raise awareness of the plight
of the village.

Despite Aleksandr Orlov's best efforts to clear up the continued
confusion between comparethemeerkat.com (www.comparethemeerkat.com/)
with comparethemarket.com (www.comparethemarket.com/) through
releasing epic trilogy adverts, documentaries and even writing a best selling
book, the confusion is now having a major effect on the all the villagers of
Meerkovo and their livelihoods.

Commenting on the latest stage of his campaign to stop the confusion, the
appointment of an Ambassador, Aleksandr said "I am seeking an exceptional
talented UK human person to act as ambassador for the Meerkats of Meerkovo.
Lucky candidate will be my eyes, ears and claws in the UK, reminding peoples
of difference between meerkat and market."

No specific experience or qualifications are required but the successful
applicant will demonstrate:

- A clear understanding of the problems facing Meerkovo

- Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills

- Proven knowledge of using social media

- Ability to come up with strong creative ideas to help communicate the
problems facing Meerkovo

Applicants have until 20th April 2011 to visit Meerkovo.com and fill in
an application form. Interviews will be held in London during the week of
25th April 2011 where a final shortlist of candidates will then be announced
and encouraged to campaign for the role. The winner will be decided in May by
a public vote on the village's website www.meerkovo.com

Aleksandr Orlov started his campaign to help people know the difference
between comparethemeerkat.com and comparethemarket.com in 2009 with a TV
advertising campaign. Since then Aleksandr has produced a film trilogy,
launched an iPhone app and written a best selling biography. He currently has
almost 800,000 Facebook fans and 40,000 Twitter followers but the confusion
remains.
