NEWARK, New Jersey - New Offering Enables Organizations to Migrate To Microsoft’s Business Productivity Online Standard Suite (BPOS Standard) From IBM Lotus Notes In As Little As One Weekend

Binary Tree announced today Weekend Express migrations that enable organizations with up to 5,000 users to be migrated to Microsoft Exchange Online and the Business Productivity Online Standard Suite (BPOS Standard) from IBM Lotus Notes in as little as one weekend. The Weekend Express offering includes migrating email, calendars, contacts, and to-do’s and also provides an option to maintain the functionality of mail-enabled Lotus Notes workflow applications to interoperate with Microsoft Outlook without requiring any application modifications. Pricing starts at US$29 per mailbox.

Binary Tree’s software has been key to helping organizations like Blockbuster, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Ingersoll Rand and others to migrate over 100,000 users from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Online and the Business Productivity Online Suite. Now with Weekend Express, customers are not required to buy, install or configure any hardware or software for the migration. Binary Tree’s Weekend Express data center runs the migration and can scale to migrate organizations with up to 5,000 users in one weekend. Support for larger organizations can also be provided and BPOS Dedicated should be considered.

Weekend Express migrations also do not require customers to have migration expertise. The Weekend Express data center team performs a pre-migration environmental audit and briefing, all the while taking the customers through every step of Binary Tree’s proven, best-practices methodology for migrations from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange Online. Plus, online training on Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Web Access is provided so that users have what they need to be productive first thing Monday morning on Microsoft Online.

“After performing thousands of migrations over 15 years, we have streamlined our processes and best practices to allow organizations to go through rapid messaging changes while minimizing downtime and increasing user productivity,” stated Steven Pivnik, Co-CEO of Binary Tree. “We are assisting a large enterprise right now with migrating up to 10,000 users a week and have done weekend migrations for companies of up to 15,000 users. We also are talking with several global partners to offer similar capabilities with their own value added services to complement the migration.”

The Weekend Express offering, which is powered by Binary Tree’s award-winning CMT suite of software, will initially be available in the United States and the United Kingdom with additional countries to be added in the second half of 2009.
