Betex Appoints Alexander David Securities Limited as Corporate Financial Adviser

LONDON, February 9 - Betex Group plc announces the appointment of London based broking firm,
Alexander David Securities as its Corporate Financial Adviser with immediate
effect. Alexander David Securities has been tasked with supporting Betex in
implementing its corporate growth strategy and identifying options to realise
shareholder value.

Commenting on this development, Jeremy Longley, the Chief Executive of
