Boots Treat Street Welcomes EDF Energy

Boots Treat Street has welcomed EDF Energy to its site, offering customers the opportunity to collect Boots Advantage Card points by switching their energy provider. The company can be found in the ‘Insurance and Energy’ area of the Treat Street site.
EDF Energy is one of the UK’s largest energy companies and its largest producer of low-carbon electricity. A wholly-owned subsidiary of the EDF Group, one of Europe’s largest energy groups, the company generates around one fifth of the UK’s electricity and employ around 15,000 people. It supplies electricity and gas to around 5.5 million residential and business customers, making it the biggest supplier of electricity by volume.
Treat Street customers who switch their gas and electricity supply to EDF Energy’s Fix for 2012 tariff will collect 2400 points while those who switch their gas and electricity supply to the Energy Discount Plan Version 5 tariff will collect 1400 Dave Robinson, Head of Partnership Marketing at Boots said: “We are excited to announce the collaboration of EDF Energy with Boots on the Treat Street site. It is important to us that customers have the opportunity to collect Advantage Card points with energy suppliers that they trust. With so many suppliers available across the UK, we’re delighted to be working with EDF as a market leader, and with the colder months approaching we know many of our customers will be considering changing their energy provider.”

Advantage Card points are only available to new customers who switch their energy supply to EDF’s Fix for 2012 and Energy Discount Plan Version 5 tariffs online through Treat Street. Existing EDF Energy customers switching to a new tarrif do not qualify.
