- First Ever Porter of the Year Award Winner Named
A diligent woman from Cambridge has beaten off five male
contenders to be named the first ever Porter of the Year during an awards
ceremony held yesterday in London.
Isy Barrett from the Cambridge Belvedere apartments was
presented with the honour at the News on the Block Property Management
Awards. She was named ahead of five male finalists, representing prestigious
London apartments, for her hard working attitude and dedication to her
residents.
The other five finalists for the award were: - Patrick Opuku, Day Concierge at St George Wharf in London who received a highly commended award. - Pedro Louro, Porter at Queens Mary Place in London who received a highly commended award. - Red Houjabi, Head Concierge at The Water Gardens in London - Anthony Coker, Concierge at Oppidan Apartments in London - Kevin Waite, Day Concierge at Beaufort Park in London The POTY Award was created by the UK's dedicated information and advice service for flat owners and managers, News on the Block, www.newsontheblock.com to acknowledge the hard work of porters and concierges across the UK for their dedication and commitment to the residents and complexes they service.
