Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. Signs an Agreement with S&P Capital IQ to Exclusively Provide Global Equity Research Services to Cantor’s US Institutional Clients

Cantor Fitzgerald & Co., a leading global financial services firm, and S&P Capital IQ, a leading independent provider of multi-asset class data, research and analytics, today announced an exclusive relationship to provide a custom package of S&P Capital IQ equity research products and services to Cantor’s institutional clients in the U.S. with additional global licensing rights. This deal further augments Cantor’s existing primary equity research offering, complementing its sales and trading business in order to enhance its platform and institutional distribution capability.

Under the agreement, Cantor’s clients will have direct access to S&P Capital IQ’s equity analysts, S&P Capital IQ hosted issuer meetings, plus other industry and corporate events, including analyst events, seminars and investment conferences.

Additionally, Cantor Fitzgerald is further expanding its distribution efforts by providing institutional equity research sales coverage, spearheaded by P. Mark Martini, Global Head of Equity Research Sales & Product Distribution, to distribute and market both S&P Capital IQ’s equity research products and services and Cantor’s existing Primary Equity Research product.
