LONDON, June 15, 2010 - To celebrate the oldest rum brand in the world making its debut at Taste
of London festival, Mount Gay Rum and Mahiki Bar & Grill, London's ultimate
destination for any cocktail lover, have come together to create a bespoke
cocktail exclusively for the festival. The Caribbean Coalition Cocktail is an
exclusive blend of premium Mount Gay Rum Extra Old and Sailor Jerry Spiced
Rum. The result is an all-together more exciting coalition than any political
party could ever hope to achieve and will certainly deliver on its taste
manifesto!

In an extra twist of excitement, Papa Jules, Mahiki's legendary cocktail
creator, will be mixing it up on the Mount Gay stand on Friday 18th June from
5.30pm offering visitors the chance to learn tips from one of London's
hottest mixologists.

Established in 1703 in Barbados, Mount Gay Rum is a sumptuous, inimitable

Booth will be able to try a selection of Mount Gay's premium aged rums and
delicious cocktails expertly made by a team of Mount Gay ambassadors, as well

neat over ice.

to experiment with and will help bring the fantastic flavours of Mount Gay

    Caribbean Coalition Cocktail

    Ingredients:
    25ml Mount Gay Extra Old
    25ml Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum
    15ml Pear Puree
    10ml Strawberry Puree
    25ml Lemon juice
    10ml Fraise de Bois
    20ml Sugar Syrup

    Place all the ingredients in cocktail shaker and shake. Strain over
    crushed ice and top up with 75ml Sparkling wine. Garnish with pineapple
    leaf.
