Cosmos Holidays Gets a ‘New Look’ for the Next 50 Years in Business!

Having celebrated 50 years in business this year, independent tour operator Cosmos Holidays is having a complete ‘makeover’ to take the company forward for the next 50 years!  Launching on 15 December, the new branding will appear on, all customer communications, brochures and marketing collateral both in the UK and Overseas.  

Based on recent market research, Cosmos Holidays needs to have a clearer brand identity and most importantly shout about its core values of service, security, value for money, heritage and independence. To highlight this to the public, the new branding, key values and exclusive offers will be backed by a consumer advertising campaign commencing on 28 December.

Says Hugh Morgan, MD, Cosmos Holidays: “Our new branding will see us stand out in a ’sea of sameness’ whilst at the same time appealing to a new younger generation as well as our traditional customers.  Supporting our new fun and quirky theme using ‘chalkboard’ holiday imagery, our prices too will be ‘black and white’, with no hidden extras such as debit card or baggage fees - elements which are all too often stripped out of packages in the current market place.

It has never been more important in our industry to reaffirm the security of our fully-bonded packages, continued independence and above all financial stability. With our new business plan and new look in place, we are in a strong position with our current trading position for summer ‘12 up 21% year on year against a market which is performing 3% down. We will be flagging up our unrivalled flexibility and great value, fully-bonded packages to an ever-increasing range of the most popular holiday destinations, supported by our in-house airline, Monarch, and its almost daily flying programme on most key routes.”

Following a review of the entire customer journey - several new concepts are being introduced for the start of the summer season.  One example of this is the new ‘concierge service’, not currently offered by many other mainstream operators, which will allow our customers to contact our resort teams for tips about their holiday resort.

The main edition Cosmos Summer Holidays, Florida and Distant Dreams go on sale 15 December with Cosmos Lapland launching on 29 December.
