Cummins Power Generation Announces Price Increases for 2011

MINNEAPOLIS, May 31, 2011 -

Cummins Power Generation Inc., a division of Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI), is
announcing price increases for its commercial diesel-powered generator sets.
These prices will increase up to 2%, effective August, 2011. The increases
are due primarily to global market conditions, rising prices for fuel and
other key commodities, and foreign exchange dynamics.

continuous, prime and standby power in a variety of commercial, industrial
