European Traffic Information is Available Free on the ViaMichelin Website, the iPhone and the iPad

With the summer holidays approaching,
ViaMichelin offers real-time traffic information on numerous
platforms… a good way to stay informed of traffic conditions
on the way!
Following the success of its real-time traffic information
service, (more than 1,100,000 App Store downloads for the
ViaMichelin Trafic France application alone), ViaMichelin has now
developed the service for more countries in Europe
(Germany, Spain, France,
Italy, Netherlands, United
Kingdom and Switzerland), and on different
platforms:
- the

website, via the Traffic tab (before hitting the road);
- the iPhone and the iPad available to download free from the
App Store (whilst on the move).
Available in 5 languages, it enables users with a single click
to view real-time road conditions and anticipate any potential
traffic difficulties more accurately
- closed roads;
- safety features (closures, slow-moving traffic,
etc.);
- unexpected road incidents (accidents, road works,
etc.);
- traffic conditions;
- local and road conditions, updated every 15 minutes;
- display of petrol stations and car parks on each route.

From an iPhone, an iPod Touch or

Type « Michelin » in the App Store in order to access
all Michelin applications. Downloads will require an existing
iTunes acoount.
