Firth Rixson Completes First Product Delivery, ISO/AS Registration at the Georgia Forging Facility

SHEFFIELD, England and EAST HARTFORD, Connecticut, May 2, 2011 - After only 14 weeks since its Grand Opening in January, Firth Rixson
Forgings LLC has completed its inaugural delivery of customer aero engine
components. "We have confirmed our customer's receipt of our initial
shipment, 8 days earlier than initially planned," said Chris Bohlmann, Vice
President and General Manager of the Georgia facility. "The feedback has been
outstanding. I am proud of the organization we have assembled here in
Georgia, and the results they have produced. This is another major milestone
our entire team can take pride in."

Firth Rixson Forgings LLC executed the initial shipment on April 25,
2011
, which was also the date of its ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100:2009
registration. Firth Rixson broke ground in Georgia in October of 2009,
commenced operation of the forge press on site in October of 2010, and
occupied the fully integrated 200,000 square foot manufacturing facility in
December of 2010.
