LONDON, November 7, 2011 -

Stephen Engdahl, senior vice president of product strategy at GoldenSource Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise data management solutions, will be discussing practical approaches to data management at an enterprise level as part of the Data Strategy track at the Financial Information Management Conference (FIMA) at 2:35pm GMT on 9 November in London.

Stephen Engdahl, SVP of product strategy said, “It is more important than ever to get data management right. With greater scrutiny by regulators, customers, and management about the provenance of data that drive critical business decisions, tactical solutions are no longer sufficient. The game is now about governance, auditability, and a 360º view of instrument, transaction, and entity data.”

At FIMA, Engdahl will introduce the landscape of architectural options for data management and highlight key criteria that firms need to consider when selecting a data management architecture. Engdahl will also be discussing the various data strategies firms can put in place and examining which strategies have been successful in practice.

The conference is taking place from 8 to 10 November at Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, Broad Sanctuary, London, SW1P 3EE. Stephen will be available for briefings either onsite or after the event.
