BRISTOL, England, November 3, 2011 -

From workshops to panels, keynotes to networking, content and leading speakers combined with seamless organisation produced the most streamlined, smooth-running conference iStrategy has had to date.

The leading digital media conference  took place from 25th - 26th October at Park Plaza Amsterdam Airport in the Netherlands. The conference trended number one on Twitter in Amsterdam within the first hour, and hosted over 30 of the industry’s leading speakers on social media. Randi Zuckerberg, former Head of Marketing at Facebook, delivered the opening keynote address, in which she shared her top ten tips for maximising brands on Facebook.

Jimmy Wales, Founder of Wikipedia, delivered the final keynote session, in which he covered the fundamentals of the Wikipedia model, and revealed how open-source, open-content technology is changing the face of the Internet.

In addition, over 30 other industry leaders from companies such as Microsoft, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google, Spotify, Rovio, Heineken, and more spoke to share their insights on leading social media techniques and technology. Topics covered social media, mobile marketing and applications, display advertising, online advertising, email marketing, web analytics, e-commerce, and content strategy.

The conference also facilitated coffee breaks, lunches, and even a gala reception evening in order to facilitate face-to-face networking opportunities with for executives to meet with their peers and industry pioneers.

Unlike many other conferences, iStrategy ( believes that quality, not quantity, is what is most important. By limiting the number of attendees to 300 senior marketers, the conference added value by ensuring a more intimate and interactive experience.

David Chalmers, former European Brand Manager for Cisco, said of the event, “[iStrategy is] the best digital conference in Europe.”
