Jim Rogers to Present at China Hi-Tech Fair

SHENZHEN, China, November 16, 2011 -

The 6-day China Hi-Tech Fair 2011 (”the Fair”) will be held in Shenzhen on Nov.16-21. The well-known American investor, Jim Rogers, will participate in the Fair and deliver a keynote speech at the summit forum on the capital market on November 17th, on the topic “Opportunities and Challenges in the Capital Market of China and the World”. Afterwards he will have a dialogue with Chinese economists and entrepreneurs on the topic of “Risks and Investment Strategies”, where he will also share his investment countermeasures and answer investor’s questions.

Rogers was the co-founder of the Quantum Fund with George Soros and creator of Rogers Holdings and Beeland Interests.

The capital market forum will also see the presence of Wu Xiaoqiu, director of the Financial and Securities Institute (FSI) of Renmin University of China.

Part of the Fair, the “China Hi-tech Forum” is comprised of 4 forums: “Ministerial Forum”, “Chinese Entrepreneur Summit”, “Capital Market Forum” and “Low Carbon Technology and New Energy Development Summit”.

In the “Ministerial Forum”, which opens on November 16th, an in-depth discussion on “The Prospect of New Industries Development and International Cooperation” will be carried out among Tamas Fellegi, minister of the Ministry of National Development of the Republic of Hungary; Erkki Virtanen, executive secretary and vice minister of Ministry of Employment and the Economy of Finland; and Zarko Obradovic, minister of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia, along with the ministers of the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Science and Technology, National Development and Reform Commission, and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China.

The “Chinese Entrepreneur Summit” focuses on “the Financing Plight of Chinese Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises”, low-carbon technology and new energy development.

The China Hi-Tech Fair forum has always enjoyed a high reputation for its speakers of “high level, high standard, authority and internationalism”. Therefore, it is one of the most influential international forums in the field of China’s economy and hi-technology industry.
