Kodak's Inkjet Printing Wins High Profile Accolade Proving Kodak Is Best In Class in Inkjet Printing
By Kodak, PRNEMonday, September 20, 2010
LONDON, September 21, 2010 - Eastman Kodak Company (NYSE:EK) is proud to have recently won a
prestigious accolade for its inkjet printing. Channel 5's The Gadget Show has
selected the KODAK ESP 3250 as the Number One colour printer on the market
today. Recognition from such a popular consumer advice programme is proof of
Kodak's ongoing commitment to provide consumers high-quality, inkjet printing
with high-quality, affordable ink.
Since its market launch in 2007, Kodak has provided premium-quality ink
at low-cost to consumers who are fed up with overpaying for ink refills. The
Gadget Show specifically highlighted not only the high quality prints
produced by the KODAK ESP 3250, but commented that it was "ecstatic" about
the costs per print which were less than half the price of the nearest rival.
The KODAK 3250 can print Kodak lab-quality prints in as little as 29
seconds. Crisp, sharp documents are printed fast - up to 30 pages per minute
in black/white, 29 pages per minute in colour. [1]
Kodak's AiO printers use Kodak's innovative, low cost ink system that
uses proprietary, premium pigment-based inks to produce documents and Kodak
Lab-Quality Photos [2] that last a lifetime. [3] In addition, Kodak has made
printing simple and more cost-effective - without compromising on quality.
Kodak is proud to provide consumers premium quality printing options at
affordable prices that are recognized by consumer product experts such as The
Gadget Show as best buys.
"We are delighted to have received such great praise from The Gadget
Show," commented Bob Ohlweiler, Director and VP, Consumer Inkjet, Europe,
Africa, Middle East. "Coming in as a new inkjet player it is an honor to
already be receiving industry recognition for our high-quality ink,
affordable prices, and premium quality printing. We are extremely pleased
that the KODAK 3250 has been so well received and acknowledged as the UK's
number one printer."
Kodak entered the inkjet market with a commitment to save consumers money
if they switched to Kodak inkjet printers. This commitment remains and
independent tests confirm that Kodak customers who print as few as four pages
per day will save on their overall printing costs. With Kodak inkjet
printers, quality is not compromised by the savings as this recent accolade
from The Gadget Show confirms. [4]
