Kuwaiti Prime Minister Condemns Marrakesh Bombing

KUWAIT CITY, May 2, 2011 - Kuwaiti Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah
(www.pm.gov.kw/index.asp) expressed his country's solidarity in the
fight against terrorism in a cable to the First Minister of Morocco Abbas
Al-Fassi following a deadly attack there on 28 April. His Highness the Prime
Minister called the bomb blast an act of violence against all human values.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Sabah
Al-Salem Al-Sabah (www.mofa.gov.kw/MOFA/Minister_resume.htm) also
expressed condolences to his Moroccan counterpart, Foreign Minister Taib
Al-Fassi Al-Fahri. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed denounced the horrendous act of
violence and expressed his condolences to the victims and families of those
killed.
Bilateral relations between the two countries have increasingly
strengthened through high-level exchange visits and cooperative agreements.
Earlier this year, a security agreement with the Kingdom was approved during
a Cabinet meeting presided by Sheikh Nasser.
