M.A.C Glamourises the Stars for the British Independent Film Awards 2009

LONDON, December 8 - M.A.C Cosmetics, globally the professional artist's brand of
choice for film, fashion, television, theatre, music and photography was
proud to be the Official Makeup Sponsor of the British Independent Film
Awards 2009 (BIFA) and was delighted to support the Best Actress Award at
last nights ceremony at The Brewery, London, EC1.
The M.A.C PRO Team spent the day working with some of the
leading British names in film to ensure they looked their best as they walked
down the red carpet for one of the most prestigious industry award
ceremonies.
Actress and presenter on the night, Eva Green, enjoyed a home
appointment from M.A.C Senior Artist,
Lesley Keane who created a dramatic Smokey eye using M.A.C
Eye Kohl in Smolder, Scene and Carbon eyeshadows. Lashes were enhanced by
adding M.A.C #30 Individual Lashes to the top lash line. The look was
intensified with generous application of Pro Lash Mascara in Black. To
finish, Eva's lips were moisturised with M.A.C Lip Conditioner SPF15 then Lip
Pencil in Whirl was applied all over to compliment her natural lip colour.
Best Supporting Actress nominee, Kierston Wareing, chose a
pretty 1950s style make up with fresh skin and gorgeous flicked eyeliner for
the Awards. The look was created using M.A.C Prep & Prime Skin and Studio
Sculpt Foundation in NC35 for a clean flawless base. Cream Colour Base in
Pearl and Fresco, Mineralise Skinfinish Powder in Medium Plus, highlighted
and sculpted the face. M.A.C Paint Pot in Bare Study, Eyeshadows in Smut,
Romp and Ricepaper, Fluidline in Blacktrack and Eye Kohl in Smolder were used
to create the 50's feline eye and Lip Pencil in Subculture and Lipsticks in
Faux and Cherish finished the look.
M.A.C Senior Artist Caroline Donnelly created a fresh look for
Best Supporting Actress nominee Rosamund Pike. Caroline applied M.A.C Face &
Body Foundation with a #191 brush and Moisture Cover Concealer where needed.
M.A.C Bare Canvas Paint and Eyeshadow in Shroom was applied to Rosamund's
eyelids as a base. Kid and Symmetry Eyeshadows deepened the socket and
Contract Eyeshadow applied with a #266 brush lined the top of the eye.
Caroline gave Rosamund's eyes some drama by applying M.A.C Pro lash Mascara
and #30 lashes. M.A.C Bone/Beige Pro Sculpting powder sculpted her face and
Pinch Me Powder Blush gave her cheeks a fresh glow. To highlight the face
Caroline used M.A.C Silver Dusk Iridescent Powder on her cheekbones, centre
of her lid and on the inner corner of eye. Lastly M.A.C lipstick Dubonnet
created a beautiful deep lip.
Winners and presenters received a M.A.C Deluxe Gift box to
maintain their stunning red carpet look throughout the evening. These
included M.A.C Slimshine Lipstick in Bare, Paint Pot in Girl Friendly, M.A.C
Strobe Liquid, Blushcreme in Posey, Eye Kohl in Smolder, Eye shadow in Mulch
& Parfait Amour, Funtabulous Dazzleglass, Dazzlelash Mascara in Blackdazzle,
M.A.C Blot Film, Lip Conditioner SPF15 and M.A.C's #188 Brush.
