CALGARY, Canada, September 28, 2010 -
What: KITALE HOSPITAL INAUGURATION
The grand opening of the eye clinic at the Kitale District
Hospital, which which will provide high quality, sustainable eye
care services.
Since 2002, generous Canadian donors from Operation Eyesight
Universal have invested almost $3.5 million US or 276 million
Schillings in Kenya.
Operation Eyesight has constructed and/or refurbished eye clinics
and operating theatres in Narok, Kitale, Kapsabet and Kapenguria,
support for hospital operating costs and the Narok Trachoma
Project.
