LONDON, October 27, 2010 - The UK's love of meerkats is expected to reach new highs next
Thursday (28th October) as comparethemeerkat.com opens its first UK shop on
London's prestigious Regent Street.

The pop-up shop will be open for two days only to celebrate
the launch of comparethemeerkat.com founder Aleksandr Orlov's autobiography -
'A Simples Life - My Life & Times'. The autobiography, which has already
topped the Amazon Hot New Releases chart, is in the running to become a
Christmas best-seller.

The first 250 visitors to the shop (on both days) will be able
to buy a signed copy of 'A Simples Life - My Life & Times', and for the first
time ever, have an opportunity to compare meerkat paintings and see original
artifacts from Aleksandr's mansion and adverts .

The pop-up shop, at 80 Regent Street, will be a replica of
comparethemeerkat.shop which featured in the latest comparethemeerkat.com
advert, 'The Streets of Ambitiousness'.

The shop is expected to attract large crowds, as the British
public has awarded Aleksandr Orlov iconic status since his first TV
appearance in 2009.

Speaking from his Russian mansion Aleksandr said, "I am very proud to
