Mitchell C. Hochberg Appointed to the Board of Orient-Express Hotels Ltd.

HAMILTON, Bermuda - Orient-Express Hotels Ltd. (NYSE: OEH) (www.orient-express.com), owners and operators of 50 deluxe leisure properties in 25 countries, today announced that Mitchell C. Hochberg has been elected to the Board of Directors at the Company’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on June 5, 2009.

Mr. Hochberg has been the Managing Principal of Madden Capital LLC, a real estate investment, development and advisory firm since March 2007, having joined from Ian Schrager Company, a developer and manager of innovative luxury hotels and residential projects in the United States, where he was President and Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to this, Mr. Hochberg founded, and for 20 years, was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Spectrum Communities and its successor, developers of luxury home communities in the north eastern United States.

Mr. Hochberg is a lawyer and a certified public accountant.

This brings to eight the members of Orient-Express Hotels’ Board of Directors, the others are: James B. Hurlock, Chairman, John D. Campbell, Prudence M. Leith, J. Robert Lovejoy, Georg R. Rafael, James B. Sherwood and Paul M. White, President and Chief Executive Officer.
