New App for HiDrive Enables Easy Access from Windows Phone 7

Strato is one of the first online storage providers with its own App for Windows  Phone 7, which provides even more users with mobile access to HiDrive. The App makes it easy for users to access files on HiDrive and for example, upload photos taken with a Windows smartphone directly onto their online storage. The HiDrive App for Windows Phone 7 can be installed for free in the Windows Marketplace by using the search term “HiDrive”.

The new version of the HiDrive App for Android offers many additional features for mobile usage: it is now possible to stream all common music formats and many film formats directly onto the smartphone. Moreover, users can take snapshots with their smartphones and save them from the photo menu securely to HiDrive. The new version of the HiDrive App can also be moved directly to a SD card via “Move 2 SD”. In this way, no internal storage space is used by the App. The HiDrive App is available for download free of charge to HiDrive customers in the Android Market.

In addition to the Android and Windows Phone 7 App, HiDrive also offers numerous secure access options from any web-enabled device; on your own computer, HiDrive can be integrated as a local drive just like an external hard disk. When using different computers, secure access is recommended via the File Manager in the web browser.
