Next Generation Manufacturing Europe Summit 2011 Fosters Innovation For Industry Leading Executives

Next Generation Manufacturing Europe, which took place from 20th - 22nd September at the Intercontinental La Torre Gold Resort, Murcia, Spain provided leading executives the chance to establish strong business relationships, which will see the start of many innovative and exciting new ventures.

The summit saw senior level executives companies across Europe meet to discuss objectives such as minimising costs, lean manufacturing, maximising synergy, and improving process sustainability in a relaxed and vibrant environment. Speakers included leading industry professionals such as Karl Crombach, EMEA Director Manufacturing & Resources Microsoft Corporation; Bob Parker, Group VP Research, IDC Manufacturing Insights; and Kris Moortgat, Group Operations Director Benelux, Norway & Sweden, Coca-Cola Enterprises. Industry leading companies including Microsoft, Oliver Wyman, and Promethean sponsored the event.

As well as comprehensive workshops, the summit involved panel discussions offering executives moderated, peer-led discussions on major industry issues. A total of 16 workshops covered a range of exciting and pressing topics for the telecommunications industry. Topics included management techniques, lean manufacturing, disaster recovery, productivity, disruptive technology, security, supply chain, virtualisation, and more.
