Nottingham Gateway Hotel is sQuids in as it Introduces a New Contactless Card Loyalty Scheme

LONDON, April 19, 2010 - Nottingham Gateway Hotel has become the first hotel in the UK to
introduce a loyalty scheme using sQuid's innovative contactless smartcard
solution, with the launch of their new 'We Love to Reward You' loyalty
programme.

sQuid, the ePayments provider, has been trialing smartcard based loyalty
schemes for the last year, enabling all businesses, whether large or small,
to offer loyalty rewards to their customers.

With hotels, shops and restaurants across the UK increasingly seeking
innovative new ways to enhance customer loyalty, sQuid offers a breakthrough
in multi-purse smartcard loyalty and payment services, enabling even smaller
stores to compete in the competitive market amongst bigger chains. The
Nottingham Gateway 'We Love To Reward You' smartcard offers contactless
payments and the promise of very attractive rewards which are redeemable in
the hotel's bar and restaurant.

General Manager Mandy Goldsmith said: "I am convinced the 'We Love to
Reward You' Loyalty card will dramatically improve the way loyalty can work
for our customers, allowing us to immediately reward customers for their
custom. Put simply, the card has two purses - one for making payments and one
for storing loyalty rewards. Customers will be rewarded with GBP1 for every
GBP5 spent, which is paid back in to the loyalty purse on their card."

initiatives it can take a while before the customer can see any real reward,
but with sQuid's flexible approach to loyalty and payments, customers start
to see rewards immediately, especially as Nottingham Gateway Hotel cards are
sold for GBP5 and come with GBP10 of reward pre-loaded just for signing up."

Goldsmith added: "Our loyalty scheme will not only appeal to new
customers but will also reward frequent customers. Customers are provided
with an online account where they can view their transactions; keep track of
their loyalty funds and then top up their card online."
