News Facts

Gartner, Inc. has given Oracle a rating of “Strong Positive,” the highest possible rating, in its report “MarketScope for Sales Force Automation in the Consumer Goods Industry (www.gartner.com/technology/media-products/reprints/oracle/article188/article188.html) .” (1)

In the research, Gartner identifies six categories for enabling the key field sales processes in consumer goods, including: category management, trade promotion management, trade promotion optimization, volume planning, retail execution and monitoring, and settlement.
According to Gartner, “Sales force automation (SFA) solutions continued to garner considerable attention in 2010 as manufacturers wrestled with major industry issues such as growing spending on trade promotions, product availability and retailers’ analytical capabilities outpacing those of manufacturers.”
To help consumer goods companies increase sales and marketing ROI, Oracle offers comprehensive, pre-integrated solutions that combine industry-specific requirements with its leading technology across sales and operations planning, trade promotion optimization, data management and customer interaction.
