Oracle Senior Vice President Hasan Rizvi Highlights Success of Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g

Highlighting the rapid adoption and growth of Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g (www.oracle.com/us/products/middleware/index.html) , Oracle Senior Vice President, Product Development, Hasan Rizvi today outlined the customer success and continued innovation enabled by the industry’s #1 application infrastructure foundation.

Since its introduction last year, more than 14,000 new customers have selected Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g to increase efficiencies, reduce costs and improve agility.

More than a third of the existing Oracle Fusion Middleware customers have upgraded to Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g over the past year.

Oracle partners and customers including Balfour Beatty, US Department of Defense, OnStar, and Wipro joined the session to demonstrate their success with the platform.

Oracle Fusion Middleware has been downloaded more than 250,000 times and represents more than 10,820 person years of engineering, 16 million hours of quality assurance and testing, and 18,420 customer-driven enhancements.

In addition to rapid customer adoption, Oracle has continued to innovate across its suite of Middleware solutions, introducing new features that enable customers to get more value out of their IT investments by seamlessly extending their existing applications and future proofing their business transformation initiatives.

The session highlighted the recent customer-driven innovations delivered in key components of Oracle Business Intelligence 11g (www.oracle.com/us/corporate/press/143363) , Oracle Business Process Management 11g (www.oracle.com/us/corporate/press/079865) , Oracle Enterprise Content Management 11g (www.oracle.com/us/corporate/press/078335) , Oracle Data Integration 11g (www.oracle.com/us/products/middleware/data-integration/index.html) , Oracle Identity Management 11g (www.oracle.com/us/products/middleware/identity-management/index.html) , and Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g (www.oracle.com/us/products/enterprise-manager/middleware-management/index.html) .

The session also showcased the benefits of the newly announced Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud (www.oracle.com/us/corporate/press/173459) , an integrated hardware and software system, engineered, tested, and optimized by Oracle to run Java applications with the fastest performance and support consolidation of applications with complex workloads while maintaining isolation, availability and security.
