Richard Emerton to Join Korn/Ferry as Head of the Board & CEO Practice for EMEA

LONDON, May 13, 2010 - Korn/Ferry International (NYSE: KFY), a premier global provider of talent
management solutions, today announced that Richard Emerton will be joining
the Firm as head of the Board & CEO Practice for EMEA (Europe, Middle East
and Africa). He will be based out of Korn/Ferry's London office.
Mr. Emerton will be joining Korn/Ferry from Heidrick & Struggles, where
he was head of the U.K. Board and CEO Practice, a member of the European and
global Board Practice and responsible for overseeing all board search and
advisory work in the U.K. Additionally, for two years he was the Managing
Partner of Heidrick and Struggles' Leadership Consulting business in EMEA.
Prior to working in executive search, Mr. Emerton was a partner at Arthur
Andersen.
Throughout his career, Mr. Emerton has worked on a wide-range of
senior-level executive and non-executive assignments, including chief
executives, chairmen and non-executive directors of Fortune 100 and FTSE 100
companies. He specializes in board effectiveness, chairman and CEO
succession, executive development and issues of strategic leadership risk.
