Award Honors Best BI/Knowledge Management Solution of the Year

CAMBRIDGE, England and SAN FRANCISCO, February 10, 2011 - Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L), a global leader in
infrastructure software for the enterprise, today announced that its
customer, international law firm SJ Berwin, has won the KnowList Award 2011
for its deployment of Autonomy's iManage Universal Search (IUS) and Phoenix
Business Solutions' Knowledge Assist solutions. The KnowList Awards, voted
for by just under 4,000 lawyers, are dedicated to the strategic
implementation of technology within law firms, recognizing the success of key
individuals, law firms and suppliers who are constantly striving to add value
using IT. Established in 1982, SJ Berwin is a leading international law firm
with approximately 150 partners and more than 400 lawyers in Europe, the
Middle East and East Asia.

SJ Berwin has implemented Autonomy IUS with Phoenix Knowledge Assist to
allow its lawyers quick and easy access to knowledge from a wide range of
internal and external data sources. Phoenix Business Solutions, a
long-standing partner of Autonomy, managed the implementation and
configurations of both systems to provide self-service intuitive enterprise
search capability that combines internal and external information resources
with the firm's own knowledge and expertise, helping lawyers deliver the best
advice in the shortest possible time.

According to SJ Berwin's IT Director, Simon Kosminsky, "Our lawyers'
ability to find the information they need quickly and easily improves
turnaround times and client service. The combination of Autonomy IUS with
Phoenix Knowledge Assist has a direct impact on our bottom line, by saving
time, boosting productivity, reducing costs for the firm and improving our
client service."

"We would like to extend our congratulations to SJ Berwin for receiving
this well-deserved recognition," said Neil Araujo, CEO of Autonomy Protect
Legal Systems. "This award is a strong validation for how Autonomy's iManage
Universal Search can deliver a powerful search solution tailored to meet the
needs of today's lawyers. We are honored to be a part of this innovative
project."
