HONOLULU, September 20, 2010 - Musician David Morris, working under the artist name Picture An Accident
(www.pictureanaccident.com/), has released his debut modern rock
album entitled Picture An Accident. The album is dedicated to his late
father, actor/director Howard Morris
(www.pictureanaccident.com/pictureanaccident.com/Howard_Morris.html),
who achieved fame in the 1950s co-starring with Carl Reiner and Imogene Coca
on the legendary Sid Caesar's "Your Show of Shows," and was later known as
the famous rock-throwing hillbilly Ernest T. Bass from "The Andy Griffith
Show." Morris also appeared in other TV shows, various cartoons, and multiple
films, including several Mel Brooks productions. He was also the voice of the
famous Qantas koala bear for 25 years.

While growing up, David Morris was involved with dozens of his father's
productions. David used these experiences to develop Picture An Accident.
David says, "I lost my father in 2005, and I really miss him. His life
was outstanding, and that inspired me to make this record."
David set out to create an experience capable of guiding listeners
through a maze of intricately composed twists and turns. David notes, "A mix
of traditional and non-traditional instrumentation was used to create musical
tension, while also providing an emotional lift. Internet radio listeners are
responding well towards it."
David decided to make the album on his own. He wrote, produced and
recorded the entire album in seven months, including playing all instruments,
and singing lead and supporting vocals. David notes, "We live in a new era
that allows serious artists a shot at developing and marketing themselves.
Even though I recently launched this project, I already have hundreds of
fans. I love that I'm able to produce everything myself, using an Apple Mac."
David says he's influenced by bands like Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Rush,
VAST, U2, Linkin Park, Muse and Foo Fighters.
In addition to creating music, David has directed dozens of productions,
including national TV spots and marketing/educational videos for major film
studios and Fortune 500 companies. David shot the album cover and created a
30 second TV spot for MTV, VH1 and Bravo. The spot can be seen here: TV SPOT
