LONDON, June 14, 2010 - Starting on 12 June, Currys is offering its customers fantastic savings
on TVs as it celebrates the World Cup with its new 'Substitute Your TV'
trade-in promotion. Currys is inviting customers to trade-in televisions
(www.currys.co.uk/) against a range of 70 different Plasma and LCD TVs
(www.dixons.co.uk/) included within the promotion. Customers trading
in an old TV set to buy a new 40" model will save GBP100 off the price, while
those purchasing a new 32" or 37" screen will save GBP50 on the trade-in -
and combined with some great Summer Sale deals in stores customers can save
up to GBP300 on some models. This new TV trade-in follows Currys' hugely
popular 'Cash for Goals' promotion, where customers will receive GBP10 for
every goal England scores in the World Cup, when purchasing any TVs
(www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/tv-dvd-audio/flat-panel-tvs-743-c.html) priced
GBP599 or over.
