TUCSON, Arizona -

The Tucson, Arizona-based Offshore Group will host two major manufacturing in Mexico events from October 20 - 24, 2009 at the San Carlos Plaza Hotel in Guaymas, Sonora.

The Aerospace Manufacturing in Mexico Conference will take place from the 20th until the 22nd of the month, and has been designed to introduce top industry executives to one of the largest aerospace manufacturing clusters in the country, as well as to the benefits enjoyed by manufacturers that choose to manufacture in a low-cost environment in one of The Offshore Group’s world-class industrial parks.

The 15th Annual Manufacturing in Mexico Summit will take place from the 21st until the 24th. Since its inception, The Summit has been the premier yearly gathering of top ranking executives in Mexico’s Maquiladora Industry. It has consistently provided an effective forum at which representatives of manufacturing firms from all major industries have been able to gather comprehensive information critical to the investment decision-making process in an abbreviated time frame.

The Offshore Group’s Manufacturing in Mexico October Conferences will enable attendees to:

1. Tour plants currently in production to assess worker productivity, and/or identify suppliers. 2. Learn the details of operating in Mexico from expert speakers. 3. Meet with and gain valuable insight from and contacts with executives of companies currently manufacturing in Mexico. 4. Have a cost model analysis performed by Offshore Group senior staff for any Mexico manufacturing scenarios currently being considered.
