"Pirate characters have always been popular, and strangely lovable, but
Johnny Depp's Pirates of the Caribbean role carved the way for a new genre of
comedy pirate. When children across the world think of pirates they associate
them with his version of Captain Jack Sparrow. Our quest for the world's best
pirate joke embraces this humorous take on a now infamous character."
