Al Rahji Bank to Open 90 New Branches in 3 Years

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, February 13 - Al Rajhi Bank is determined to expand its network by opening
90 new branches within the next three years to get closer to its customers,
maintaining its promise to find Al Rajhi branches…Almost Anywhere.

This expansion strategy will help one of the largest Islamic
Banks in the world to maintain its leadership in terms of having the largest
network of branches locally and regionally, where the total number of
branches only will increase to 546.

Saeed Al Ghamdi, The Deputy CEO of Al Rajhi Bank, said: "Our
expansion strategy will continue till we achieve the ultimate objective of
being closer to our customers and provide them with the best-in-class
products and services in order to make banking more convenient for them."

Al Ghamdi adds: "All these new branches are going to open with
one focus in mind 'our customer experience', and for that to be achieved
we've carefully studied and implemented our in-branch design to create the
perfect modern environment for our clients and employees.

In parallel, we've enhanced our 'systems and transactions'
procedures, including our internet banking system in order to meet our
customers' needs in quick and convenient manner."

Al Ghamdi clarified that Al Rajhi Bank will continue to expand
and improve all its banking channels to deliver on the promise "to make
banking more convenience for our customers through our largest branch
network, number of ATMs and state-of-art online banking services".

He added: "We are continuing to expand according to a solid
plan taking into consideration number of important elements, such as: the
human capital needed to operate and run our huge network, the feasibility and
economical studies of such expansion strategy and how it will be reflected in
terms of growth and most importantly we're also studying the need of branches
at specific areas around the kingdom."

He also pointed that despite of the hard economical conditions
that many countries are suffering from, regionally and globally, Al Rajhi
bank is still looking forward to expand its network, work harder to increase
the base of its clients, increase its market share and develop new products
and services to meet the expectations of the growing clients' base. Overall,
