LONDON - Components of Multi-Award Winning iCR Software Available on OEM Basis
AmberFin today announced the launch of its global OEM partner program
that makes a variety of individual components of its multi-award winning iCR
software available to third party vendors.
The move provides vendors of products such as asset management,
automation, video servers and editing systems with access to AmberFin’s
advanced technology for multi-format HD/SD ingest; automated Quality Control
(QC); metadata management; MXF interoperability; and VANC and audio handling.
By implementing AmberFin technology into their products, these vendors can
focus on their core business, without having to dedicate scarce resources to
these tasks.
“Enabling customers to transition successfully to file-based and HD
workflows requires every vendor to solve a variety of complex technical
challenges, whether or not these are directly relevant to their core
business,” said AmberFin’s CTO Bruce Devlin. “At AmberFin, our entire team is
focused on solving exactly these issues. Through this OEM program, all
industry vendors have access to dedicated expertise which goes beyond what
most companies have in-house.”
AmberFin’s technology enables OEM partners to provide their customers
with hassle-free multi-format interoperability, flexible operation and
outstanding image quality. This benefits customers by making their operations
more efficient and lowering their overall costs.
“There is strong industry demand for the technology within AmberFin’s iCR
software because it streamlines the migration to file-based operations,
enables multi-format interoperability and delivers dramatically enhanced
operational efficiencies,” said Jeremy Deaner, CEO of AmberFin. “Our OEM
program enables our partners to better respond to the changing needs of the
industry, while benefiting from and leveraging AmberFin’s technical
excellence and strong reputation for interoperability and image quality, and
offering this as part of their own solution.”
