User Virtualisation Leader Announces Continued European Expansion Following Goldman Sachs $70m Investment
LONDON, March 22, 2011 - As part of its continuing expansion, AppSense, the leading provider of
user virtualisation technology, (www.appsense.com/uservirtualization/)
has added a new addition to its European team by recruiting sales expert
StÄle Akersveen to manage its sales force in the Nordic Region.
Akersveen has more than ten years' experience with enterprise-level
organisations which, along with his previous roles at Atea AS, a supplier of
IT infrastructure products and services in the Nordic and Baltic region and
Citrix Systems Norway, prepares him for his upcoming sales manager position.
The announcement of Akersveen's appointment comes following the
investment by Goldman Sachs of $70m (GBP43m) in Appsense. The company plans
to make significant contribution to its channels, fuelling the expansion of
both its US and European markets and further cementing the company's
leadership in the user virtualisation market.
