AMSTERDAM - ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the international consultancy, design and engineering company, through its 50% subsidiary ARCADIS AQUMEN FACILITY MANAGEMENT (AAFM), has signed a contract to perform facility management services for Essent and Enexis.
Initially AAFM as a manager will be responsible for the integral steering of all facility services, and support Essent and Enexis with the project management for its facility management services. In due course a total integrated management solution will be developed under which AAFM will supply the full package of services. This is the first time AAFM signed a contract with an energy company. The contract starts immediately and is valid for a period of 5 years. No financial details were disclosed.
“The interest in facility management services is clearly on the rise as these services provide clear opportunities for operational cost savings. It is good to see that we have now also signed an energy company for this activity,” said Michiel Jaski, the ARCADIS Executive Board member responsible for AAFM.
