performance management solution based on Tagetik 3.0. The Italian and
European emergency lighting market leader will use the software to control
production costs, improve planning and forecasting as well as monitor
purchases and inventory across the organization.
Specifically, Beghelli will use Tagetik 3.0 to centralize table
structures for single product items and suppliers that are currently
scattered across different ERP systems throughout the group. It will also
optimize its procurement processes so that it can assess how individual
purchases can affect group income before they are made, speed up and improve
business workflow and calculating cost estimates. Finally, the project also
intends to develop a structured, production planning and forecasting approach
throughout the group. Due to its size, the implementation will be broken down
into four phases between January and October 2011.
