Lighting Science Group Launches Ultra-Efficient European Line of DEFINITY LED Bulbs
By Lighting Science Group Corporation, PRNEWednesday, April 13, 2011
SATELLITE BEACH, Florida, April 14, 2011 - Leading the ultra-efficient lighting revolution - Lighting Science Group
(OTCBB: LSCG) today launched a European line of its DEFINITY LED bulbs that
have a higher lumen (light) output than many of its competing products at a
dramatically lower retail price. Europeans can now start lowering energy cost
without sacrificing light quality by installing Lighting Science Group's
DEFINITY line of LED light bulbs. The line includes MR16, PAR38, R63, R95,
G80, and A60 bulb types that are approximately 80% more efficient than
traditional incandescent bulbs, are dimmable and will last nearly 25,000
hours (25 times as long as a typical incandescent bulb).

"Our European DEFINITY line of LED bulbs sets a new standard for lighting
performance at an affordable price," said Rich Weinberg, chairman and chief
executive officer of Lighting Science Group. "These bulbs offer the best
lumens per dollar and can save users hundreds of dollars in maintenance,
replacement and energy costs. Furthermore, unlike CFLs, the DEFINITY LED
bulbs contain no mercury, are completely recyclable, are 'instant on,' and
offer outstanding light quality."
To ensure performance and reliability, the DEFINITY LED line was tested
under the rigorous LM-79 process by an independent laboratory approved by the
U.S. Department of Energy's CALiPER program. These testing results show that
the DEFINITY LED bulbs outperform many competing products on the market.
Moreover, saving green by buying green has been made easier, since the
DEFINITY LED bulbs have a payback of one to two years.
"With the phase-out of incandescent light bulbs, Europeans can now
purchase long-lasting, environmentally responsible and sustainable
replacements that make economic sense-without sacrificing lighting quality,"
added Weinberg.
The DEFINITY line of LED light bulbs is being offered through lighting
distributors and directly by Lighting Science Group. To find your nearest
