Stellar Team has a Running Start With its First Customer
SAN FRANCISCO, February 17, 2010 - Jerome Lecat, Giorgio Regni, Serge Dugas, Daniel Binsfeld and Brad King
are launching Bizanga Store as a spin-off from Bizanga.
Bizanga, the company that developed and delivered the most scalable and
full-featured email message processing platform, was sold yesterday to
Cloudmark, the global leader in carrier-grade messaging security, with
Olivier Lemarie taking over the role of VP Gateway Technology.
"This is a win-win development for all existing or future Bizanga
customers," said Jerome Lecat, CEO. "It provides existing IMP customers with
a much larger installed base and a development team focused on messaging
security. At the same time, it will allow the new Bizanga Store to focus on
delivering a product line which is mission critical to its customers."
The experienced team behind Bizanga will continue leveraging decades of
proven telecom experience to provide unparalleled field service and
operational support to their customers at Bizanga Store. The company will be
based in Paris and San Francisco and will build on the team's existing
relationships with service providers worldwide.
Bizanga Store has developed a massively scalable storage platform
providing significantly easier application deployment at a fraction of the
cost of traditional storage. This solution is uniquely suited to cable
operators deploying competitive email services and hosting providers who want
to grow cloud storage services. It is sold as software for deployment at the
customer locations.

few startups can offer its customers the depth of telecom operator experience
of our team."
Based on patent-pending technologies, the storage platform is
hardware-agnostic, scales from very small deployments to petabyte size and is
fault-tolerant and self-healing. It provides a single global namespace and is
easily administered through a centralized Web GUI or scriptable command line
system.

Telenet, Belgium's largest provider of broadband cable service, has been
deploying the solution to underpin its next-generation email service. It has
recently announced availability of this service in mid-March 2010, providing
100 times the mailbox size of its previous service generation.
