BNK Petroleum Inc. Adds Director of Geology

CALGARY, Canada, February 9 - BNK Petroleum Inc. ("BNK" or the "Company") (TSX: BKX) is pleased to
announce that Steven M. Warshauer has joined the Company as Director of
Geology. Mr. Warshauer has a Ph.D in geology, and over 25 years of experience
as a geologist and manager in international and domestic exploration,
operations, research and training.

Most recently Mr. Warshauer was Senior Geological Advisor for Devon
Energy Inc, Houston Texas. He was the lead geoscientist for Devon's European
Unconventional Resource Team. His career also includes working for Tenneco,
British Gas and Dominion Exploration & Production Inc. He is experienced in
the evaluation of unconventional resources such as shale gas, tight gas sands
and CBM. In addition to his significant experience with unconventional
resources, he brings vast experience in the generation of conventional oil
and gas projects, as well as extensive basin analysis work. "We are extremely
